Beginner skiers will be in heaven in Valmorel. There are 15 acres of piste which are reserved exclusively for beginners in the ski school. This area is ideal for learning to ski without the fear of having to watch over your shoulder for other skiers who might be hurtling down the piste.

Expert skiers on holiday in Valmorel may find that you have skied all of the listed areas within a day or so but where Valmorel comes into its own is off-piste. After new snowfall, there is miles upon miles of powder to be found with some extremely challenging steep faces and couloirs to be discovered.
