When skiing at Easter you have to be careful to go for a resort that has a good late snow record. As a general rule of thumb the hire the resort the better the chance of snow. If you are looking to ski in Austria then two of the most popular resorts for an Easter ski holiday are Obergurgl and Hochgurgl, which are popular due to there resort heights being all the way up at 1930m and 2150m respectively. Other Austrian Ski resorts that are popular at Easter are the glacier resorts of Kaprun and Solden. Mayrhofen is also popular due to its proximity to the Hintertux Glacier. If you are looking for something a bit different why not try Kuhtai. It is a little know ski resort that is located at 2020m and has one of the best late snow records in Austria, ideal for an Easter ski with a good guarantee of snow!
