Longing for a ski holiday that’s all about the skiing? Then head to the Tirol Lodge next season. This is a brand new hotel for Winter 18 / 19, with four wings, contemporary décor and an excellent location.

It’s got ski-in, ski-out access, at the bottom of the Hartkasier gondola, and is around 10 minutes' walk from the resort centre.

The rooms are simple but high-quality, with pine-clad walls and furniture and neutral colours. Even better, they’ve got high-speed WiFi and Netflix access.

Relaxation is key here, too – take some time out in the panoramic sauna and relaxation area, or go for a dip in the heated outdoor pool. The heart of the hotel is the lobby lounge, which has a bar and cosy fireplace.

When it comes to breakfast, you can choose to eat in the Restaurant Talkasier close by, or head to the Restaurant Bergkaiser at the top of the Hartkaiser gondola. The onsite snack bar is handy for a pick-me-up, too.
