Staying at the Yscla and we'd forgive you for changing your plans to spend every waking hour on the slopes. Head Chef Benjamin Parth serves up his multi-award winning gourmet cuisine, food that's blown the taste buds of locals and professionals alike. Certainly worth reserving early on. The 4,000 bottle strong wine cellar is sure to have the perfectly complimentary tipple to wash down the winter tastes.
There's also the 1950's American style diner, a popular haunt on the après scene, serving happy hour pasta and dripping burgers. Or try the Guxa if you fancy some more traditional fare. Although the food is what gets the TripAdvisor hounds salivating, the location is spot on - right next to the lifts and bars in town. The spa area is up on the first floor and full of natural light, a great place for a post ski sauna or full body massage. And being family run you're in for some seriously good, friendly service.
Being family run you're in for some seriously good, friendly service. And when the resort is named after the hotel, it must be pretty special.
Less than 100 metres from one of the main gondolas in Ischgl, the Silvrettabahn, access to the slopes is a breeze. The other gondola base is around a 6 minute walk through an underground passage with travellators so it's really not that far. When it comes to après you're in the thick of it yet due to some clever soundproofing you'll hardly hear a thing once inside the hotel. There is a ski run that goes around the back of the hotel so it's not far to walk at the end of the day either.
