The Kesselspitze gets alpine elegance down to a T, with exposed stone walls and grooved timber panelling for a natural, rustic finish. Add in faux fur throws, spotlights and rich navy and grey tones, and you've got a swish final look that's cosy yet stylish.

One of our fave spots is the spa, which has big floor-to-ceiling windows to bring the outside in, so you can sit back and relax as you watch the flakes fall.

The food's top-notch too – there's a buffet breakfast spread to start each day, and you can ask the chefs to whip up special requests like omelettes and pancakes. Your evening meals aren't included, so you can head out to try the local restaurants or book a table in the Kesselspitze's fondue room for a cheesy feast with the gang.
