Ski-in/ski-out chalet, directly on the blue piste. The chalet is in a fantastic piste side location, situated just above the village on the side of the Galzig, it is a blue run down to the Gampen and Galzig lifts and 100% snow sure till the end of April. St Anton isn’t known for its choice of slopeside chalets but if that is top of your priorities then this is the chalet for you. Ski back to the chalet at the end of the day and store your skis in the heated ski room with boot dryers/warmers. To the dismay of the chalet staff and the untouched afternoon treat, the lively and very popular Mooserwirt and Krazy Kanguruh are virtually on the doorstep, both great venues to end your days skiing that truly have to be experienced to be believed (these bars close by 8pm so they won’t disturb your evening). The resort is about a 8/10 minute walk down the piste, and not much longer if you opt for the road. Coming back up from town, you can take the local bus (free ski bus during the day or night bus with fare) which stops just a couple of minutes walk from the chalet. The chalet is situated in a tranquil location at the end of a private cul de sac and hardly any traffic. Chalet Aurora is a comfortable St Anton chalet that sleeps up to 12 people in five spacious bedrooms, one of which is a self contained ensuite studio. There is a dining room with flatscreen TV and the advantage of a separate living room with flatscreen TV which is comfortable and cosy and offers a great place to relax. Park your car for free at the chalet. Your chalet staff live out, so your privacy is completely guaranteed. The very kind owner lives in a self-contained apartment on the middle floor and she asks kindly to stop loud partying after 10.30pm. No problem is a normal cosy noise level.

Meals in Chalet Aurora, St Anton
Our All Inclusive service
Cleaning, housekeeping and cooking are the things you can leave at home. We want you to spend maximum time on the mountain and having fun. That’s why we offer All Inclusive service in your own chalet. You have the best of both worlds: a friendly, informal, relaxed atmosphere like at home with the convenience and service as in an All Inclusive hotel. Less demanding than self catering and less formal than staying in a hotel.
Welcome drinks and canapés on arrival
On arrival in your chalet you will find a genuine warm welcome from your English speaking Dutch chalet staff. You will be helped with your luggage and during your chalet staff’s welcome speech, drinks and handmade canapés/nibbles will be served to you in the lounge on what time you arrive. With beds made up with fresh linen and towels provided in your room. Unpack your suitcase and start your holiday.
Hearty breakfast
Guests don’t need to lift a finger in the kitchen, it’s all part of the luxury of a catered ski chalet holiday. It already starts in the morning with a hearty continental breakfast to fuel your day on the slopes. The smell of coffee in the morning will lure you to the breakfast table. You need do nothing other than find your way to the table to enjoy a breakfast of freshly baked baguettes straight from the famous local bakery, jams and butter, fresh eggs, spreads, cornflakes, cereals, muesli, yoghurts, fresh fruit, milk, fruit juices, hot chocolate, fresh coffee and pots of tea. Finished breakfast? It’s time to hit the slopes, because your chalet staff will do the dishes, make beds, clean the chalet’s public areas and do the shopping.
Homemade afternoon tea and après-ski snacks
After your day on the slopes you will return to a chalet which is kept sparklingly clean throughout your stay. Towels are changed midweek. The chalet staff make life really easy for you. It’s a ski chalet tradition your chalet staff will have laid out a sweet and salty afternoon tea with freshly home-made après-ski snacks/canapés/nibbles for your return. Our chalet staff are there to light the fire and the chalet will be filled with the aroma of baking, and a freshly prepared mulled wine or ‘vin chaud’ or tasty hot chocolate will also be awaiting your return to warm you up inside out.
Freshly prepared home cooked dinner
While you sit back and relax in the chalet (or enjoy a soak in the hot tub, see our chalets page), or maybe a drink or two in one of our local bars, the chalet staff will be creating a freshly home cooked three course dinner for you. The atmosphere is like that of a dinner party, but none of the guests have to take turns to cook. All our meals are prepared with fresh local produce and plenty of it, no tiny portions. To complement your meal we serve free and unlimited quantities of a selection of good quality red and white wines during the course of dinner.
Free unlimited drinks entire stay
During your entire stay and not just confined to meal times all drinks in the chalet like beer, wine, soft drinks, juices, coffee and tea are for free and unlimited, the whole day long. Except spirits. You are welcome to help yourself to the chalet drinks fridge throughout the day. And of course, you can also make a cup of tea and coffee by yourself, anytime you want. We do not have honesty bars where guests are required to pay a supplementary cost.
Chalet staff
Our chalet staff consists of enthusiastic, professional and hospitable people who love the Alps and are happy to pamper you. They provide a casual, flexible and free atmosphere. You are not a guest at your chalet staff in a catered chalet. It is and remains your home where you have 24 hours a day free and where you can do what you want, such as in an apartment and chalet without care.
