Chalet Murr

The 2017 / 18 season sees the arrival of the hugely popular typically Tyrole-style Chalet Murr to our our superb St Anton property portfolio.

This great chalet is ideally situated in an enviable position on Dorfstrasse which leads through the centre of the village and which links Nasserein, Galzig and Rendlbahn ski lifts. Whilst being quite simply decorated, all bedrooms are of a good size, most with balcony, and benefit from en suite shower-rooms with full facilities - two bedrooms have an additional mezzanine area to form spacious family rooms if needed. The living area is a bit limited however the lovely Tyrolean dining room provides a comfortable space to relax after skiing and enjoy a delicious evening meal lovingly prepared by your friendly chalet hosts.

The closest ski lift is at Nasserein which is only a 5-6 minute short stroll away and the village centre with its many shops, bars and restaurants is an easy walk with the local free bus stop close by for those who want to link to the other areas this fantastic resort and ski area has to offer.

You will be warmly welcomed to Chalet Murr by a team of four chalet hosts and they (or other team members) live in separate accommodation on the ground floor of the chalet.

Meals in Chalet Murr, St Anton

We believe we are the only recognised independent UK Operator to offer our properties on a flexible catering basis therefore providing our guests with as much choice as possible when choosing a fully-catered, part-catered or self-catered chalet or apartment. Our chalet hosts all enjoy cooking and take pride in what they serve and whilst they are not necessarily qualified chefs, they have good experience of dinner party cooking and many of them will have attended one of the well-regarded cookery schools with whom we work closely to ensure the highest calibre of staff possible.

Please remember though that our staff are also hand-selected for their personality and approach to work, something which we are sure you will agree, is absolutely paramount for the enjoyment of your well-earned holiday. If choosing the fully catered or part catered option, you will be assured of good home-cooked food prepared and served by great ambassadors from the tour operator. They will not offer luxury items or haute cuisine, they serve good wholesome hearty food fit for anyone after a hard day on the slopes. Menus will be varied and may include local dishes as well as the more traditional UK favourites such as roasts, lasagna or casseroles.

Chalet Wine: A selection of wines will be available for your fully catered stay (not self or part-catered) .

Please Note: Our menus have been formed over many years taking into account previous guests’ likes and recommendations and whilst we believe this plan to offer excellent variety, there will be the odd occasion when a dish might not be well-received. We would ask you therefore that if you have any specific dietary requirements or a yearning for dishes in particular, you esquire before booking your holiday and provide us with as much notice as possible regarding specific diets such as vegetarian, vegan, celeriac or non-dairy etc.
