Arriving at chalet Nimbus, you’ll be forgiven for thinking you’re arriving on the set of a James Bond movie, with just a lift entrance visible from the main road, which will take you into the “super stylish hideaway”. Chalet Nimbus is a luxurious 10 person chalet. The perfect balance of traditional alpine and contemporary looks, the sleek, cosmopolitan exterior of Nimbus is complimented by cozy timber and local stone interiors. With fantastic views of the Rendl Mountain, this is the ideal spot for watching the first skiers of the day cruise down the home run while you tuck into a hearty cooked breakfast.

Everything about Nimbus is fresh and new, while the log fire crackling in its stone fireplace and homely antique wood finishes give it true alpine character. What’s more, guests can unwind in the heated outdoor swimming pool on the lower ground floor, complete with inset whirlpool (open until 7 pm). There’s something special about stretching out in a warm pool as the snow falls, watching the steam rise up into the crisp mountain air. If heading outside in your swimming gear doesn’t appeal, there’s always the steam room, sauna and relaxation room to enjoy. Although shared, these facilities are only available to guests from Chalets Nimbus, Stratus and Cirrus. In addition to being able to leave your ski equipment at the hire shop in the center of town the chalet also has ski storage with heated boot warmers.

The five spacious en suite bedrooms are spread over two floors. All come with high specification shower rooms and superb mountain views. Four bedrooms open onto Juliette balconies, perfect for watching the glowing sunset after an exhilarating day on the mountain. Enjoy freshly made canapés each evening in the airy open plan sitting and dining area, where you’ll have pre-dinner drinks before your sumptuous four course dinner.

Location:

Chalet Nimbus sits in an enviable location, a stone’s throw away from the ski lifts and St Anton town center. The Rendl lift is a short 600 meter (approx.) walk from the chalet and the Galzig lift 900 meters (approx.) away. The vibrant resort center with its abundance of fabulous shops, restaurants and bars is approximately 700 meters from the chalet.

As you would expect from chalets of this caliber, there is no need walk anywhere in ski boots. A mini-bus service will operate at set times morning and late afternoon. Each morning the minibus service will whisk you to the center of town to our appointed hire shop to don your boots, warm from a night on the heaters. Just steps away from the Galzig lift and 300 meters (approx.) from the ski school meeting point, you’ll now be ready to head up the mountain for a sensational day of St Anton skiing

Meals in Chalet Nimbus, St Anton

We take great care in creating and planning delicious menus, for all of our chalets. We have succeeded in creating menus that are fresh, healthy and beautifully presented. We set high standards for our food and we test and taste every one of our recipes. Our menus are specially designed to give you what your body needs for a hard day on the mountain.

We believe it is important to use fresh local produce wherever we can. We take inspiration from local cuisine and combine it with familiar favourites within our menus. All of our dishes are cooked from scratch and freshly prepared for you to enjoy.

A healthy breakfast:

Start your day with freshly baked bread, a selection of jams, porridge, cereals, yogurts, eggs, fruit juice and unlimited tea and coffee. There will be a daily variety of hot options such as, sausages, tomatoes, hash browns and poached eggs, served alongside croissants, pain au chocolate (or local breads, ham and cheese in Austria and Switzerland). A continental breakfast will be provided for 7 days during your stay, as well as hot options served by our hosts on 6 days.

A well deserved afternoon Tea:

After your exhilarating day on the slopes a freshly baked cake or biscuits, served with hot tea and coffee awaits for you in your chalet, on 6 days of your stay.

Aperitifs and canapes are available of 6 of the evenings

A delicious dinner:

Your chalet is catered for 6 nights of your stay. For 5 nights you will receive a delicious freshly cooked 4 course meal, prepared for you by your chalet host, followed by a local cheeseboard. A 2 course Alpine speciality dinner will be provided on one of your evenings, which will be accompanied by a cheeseboard served with port. Dinner will also include a selection of Gold level wines (red, white and rose), that are unlimited until coffee is served. After your evening meal you will be served a selection of delicious chocolates.

Please Note - You will have the option for a packed lunch on your departure day.

Please Note - During your stay your chalet host will have one day off, on this day you will have to go out for dinner at one of the fabulous local restaurants. Your in resort ski rep can help you book or recommend a restaurant to try, and a continental breakfast will be left out for you.
