Hotel Rila

Already a great hotel, the Hotel Rila underwent major renovation last winter. There's an impressive wellness area with four saunas, steam room, cryo cabin, Turkish bath and relaxation area as well as a variety of treatments on offer; a panorama bar with stunning slope views and outdoor terrace; a modern nightclub; and a stylishly updated restaurant and lobby bar.

The Rila is set in a brilliant central location, surrounded by beautiful, unspoiled scenery. It’s at the foot of the nursery slopes and opposite the chairlift - so you can virtually ski right back to the doorstep.

The large indoor pool and two whirlpools are free for all customers - perfect for relaxing after hitting the slopes. Or you can treat yourself to a visit to the spa, sauna or steam room to really soothe sore muscles.

In the evening, you can enjoy a lovely meal in the buffet-style Seasons restaurant, decorated with bright colours and clean lines, and boasting picturesque views of the mountains. The Les Arcs restaurant is open for breakfast and occasionally for dinner, serving buffet-style meals. There's also another restaurant to dine in at an extra charge - the à la carte Samokov Mezze & Grill. At lunchtime, you can grab a hot chocolate and a snack from the Champions Lobby bar and, in the evening, stop for after-dinner drinks at the alpine-style Terrace Lounge.

Those looking for the livelier après that Borovets is famous for need not venture far – the Rila has it’s own nightclub After Eleven, so you can drink and dance the night away until the sun comes up.

Hotel Rila Nursery and Ski Kindergarten:
The Hotel Rila offer a nursery and ski kindergarten for children between 1 and 6 years old. The nursery is for little ones between 1 and 3 years that aren't on the slopes and are cared for by nannies based in the hotel. The kindergarten is aimed at children from 4-6 years from across the resort.

Activities:
Hotel-based childcare for the smallest children which includes indoor and outdoor activities, lunch and snacks
2 hours ski tuition for the older children including all equipment, lunch and snacks, and afternoon games and entertainment.

Childcare options:
Open everyday from 8.30am-4.30pm. A lift pass is not required for ski kindergarten. Nursery and Ski Kindergarten must be pre-booked.
