Chalet Lena 1 is an excellent traditional build chalet and a mere stones throw from the piste!

Getting to the skiing could not be easier! Simply walk out of the front door, turn right, a few moments later...click click, you're clipped in and on your way. A gentle cruise down the 'Altiport' green run takes you to some of the key ski lifts and the meeting place for ski & snowboarding school.

The chalet itself is located within the exclusive 'Altiport' hamlet, tucked above and away in one of the most scenic areas of Alpe d'Huez. Don't forget that you are pretty much on the piste, as a result the views from the chalet are absolutely fantastic. Modern with the Savoyard design and the chalet comes complete with a sauna.

The open plan layout of the dinning area and kitchen make for the chalet to be an extremely social place to be. Guests can gather round the dinning room table and talk with their hosts, getting the 'locals knowledge' on where best to go for those freshly groomed pistes.

The open log fire place in the lounge provides a wonderful focal point to the chalet, where you can gather round and share the knowledge of those secret spots to ski.

Features of Chalet Lena 1, Alpe d'Huez

All the bedrooms in the Chalet Lena 1 are en-suite with either a shower or bath & WC. You can request which one you would prefer and if it is possible for us to accommodate your request not a problem at all. The chalet comes equiped with satellite TV, a DVD player so feel free to bring some films over for a bit of evening entertainment. There is a CD player too.

From the lounge area, you can walk through onto the large sun terrace which given that the chalet is located pretty much on the piste, you get some of the best uniterrupted views that Alpe d'Huez has to offer. Relax with a glass of 'vin chaud' and watch the last of the skiers make their way back down the slopes.

Prestige Catering provides 6 days of meals through out your stay.

Your host will provide to you a hearty breakfast with a choice of cooked options, cereals & fruits.

Afternoon tea and cake will be waiting for you upon your return from the slopes.

In the evening you will be treated to a sumptious 4 course meal with free flowing wine.

Your chalet hosts tradition day off will normally be during the middle of your stay.

Breakfast will be on a 'help yourself' basis ad your host will be more than happy to help you choose and book a restaurant for your evening meal.
