Chalet Louisa offers a high standard of accommodation with excellent facilities and fantastic panoramic views of Alpe d’Huez. In addition to all rooms having en suite bathrooms with heated towel rails, there is the added luxury of both a hot tub and a sauna. Built in traditional wood and stone, this lovely chalet has a large balcony off the pleasantly decorated living / dining area with a warming wood burning stove, TV, DVD & WiFi internet access. Room 7 is a perfect room for a family with additional bunk beds that can be used by children only. This is a popular chalet so early booking is recommended.

Location:

Chalet Louisa is a ski-in / out (in normal conditions) chalet, in the centre of the Altiport complex above the Les Bergers area on the east side of this excellent resort. From the chalet, skiers can ski to Les Bergers, the ski school meeting point and the Marmottes gondola in 20 minutes (approx.) walk from the chalet there are bars and restaurants and the free shuttle service (running until 17:00 hours) takes guests into the centre of Alpe d’Huez. This chalet is perfect for guests who want a quiet location from which to explore the extensive ski area of Alpe d’Huez.

Meals in Chalet Louisa, Alpe d'Huez

We take great care in creating and planning delicious menus, for all of our chalets. We have succeeded in creating menus that are fresh, healthy and beautifully presented. We set high standards for our food and we test and taste every one of our recipes. Our menus are specially designed to give you what your body needs for a hard day on the mountain.

We believe it is important to use fresh local produce wherever we can. We take inspiration from local cuisine and combine it with familiar favourites within our menus. All of our dishes are cooked from scratch and freshly prepared for you to enjoy.

A healthy breakfast:

Start your day with freshly baked bread, a selection of jams, porridge, cereals, yogurts, eggs, fruit juice and unlimited tea and coffee. There will be a daily variety of hot options such as, sausages, tomatoes, hash browns and poached eggs, served alongside croissants, pain au chocolate (or local breads, ham and cheese in Austria and Switzerland). A continental breakfast will be provided for 7 days during your stay, as well as hot options served by our hosts on 6 days.

A well deserved afternoon Tea:

After your exhilarating day on the slopes a freshly baked cake or biscuits, served with hot tea and coffee awaits for you in your chalet, on 6 days of your stay.

A delicious dinner:

On 6 nights of your stay a delicious freshly cooked 3 course meal will be prepared for you by your chalet host. This will also include a selection of regional wines, that are unlimited until coffee is served.

Please Note - During your stay your chalet host will have one day off, on this day you will have to go out for dinner at one of the fabulous local restaurants. Your in resort ski rep can help you book or recommend a restaurant to try, and a continental breakfast will be left out for you.
