Overlooking this sun-kissed spot at an altitude of 1,850 meters, the Club Med Resort invites its guests to experience the thrills of the longest black slope in Europe, while guests who like to ski and also relax will love the panorama from the indoor heated pool.

The hotel itself is located right on the side of the piste and you really can ski in ski out from the door step. Being located right on the piste makes it very easy to ski back to the hotel for a spot of lunch of the sunny terrace, all included within the cost of your all inclusive package.

Please Note - Starting December 2019, the 3 Trident Club Med Alpe d’Huez will become a 4 Trident resort, offering guests an amazing new ski holiday experience. Parts of the hotel are going under renovation for the upcoming 2019 / 2020 season. There will be no noise disturbance during the Winter 2018 / 2019 ski season due to the structural work being finished. There might be little visual disturbance but no impact on the access to the Resort. The swimming pool & massage room will be closed for the whole of the 2018 / 2019 season.

The Resort has 364 rooms, in an eight-story hotel (mostly south-facing) and an annex, Les Marmottes, which communicates with the main hotel via a covered walkway.

Club Rooms - A comfortable and elegant Club Room, located on all floors of the hotel. 

You may wish to opt for an interconnecting Room or a Family Club Room in the Marmotte annex, connected to the main hotel by a covered, heated walkway.

Restaurants:

Main Restaurant - The buffet restaurant at L'Alpe d'Huez La Sarenne is the perfect family venue for breakfast, lunch and dinner, indoors or on the terrace. Choose from a great selection of international dishes, and build up your strength before getting back onto the slopes. The restaurant has air conditioning and tables for 4 to 8 people. There is a Baby Corner and high chairs for our youngest guests.

The Marmottes - Les Marmottes serves delicious traditional Savoyard cuisine including fondue and pierrade. The restaurant has waiter service and high chairs are available for babies. Booking is required in the evening, at Reception.

Bars:

Main Bar - The main bar at Club Med L'Alpe d'Huez La Sarenne is the perfect place to recharge your batteries during a dynamic day on the slopes. Catch up with family and friends over midday snacks and drinks on the terrace, with stunning views over the valley.

The Nightclub Bar - Night life is half the fun of a skiing holiday, and the nightclub bar at L'Alpe d'Huez La Sarenne is the perfect place to dance the night away to your favourite hits. You'll love the bar's hip but unpretentious atmosphere.

Drinks are available all day and evening (during bar opening hours) in all the bars in the Resort.

Drinks included (served by the glass and in the bars only):

Water, fruit juices, sodas, hot drinks, cocktails with and without alcohol, local and / or international spirits, wines. The bar also serves sweet and savoury snacks.
