Chalet Barthelemy

This is the closest chalet to the ski lift that takes you up to Plan Peisey in this resort. Traditionally a farming village, it still maintains its cheese production to this day. Clusters of characterful old stone properties make this a popular village to visit and a pleasant change from the modern resorts in France. The beautiful Chalet Barthelemy is well located to access the great links to the Peisey / Vallandry ski area, part of the Les Arcs Domain and Paradiski (only a 3 minute walk).

The chalet offers space and more with its 600m2: it has 8 ensuite bedrooms (one of these being the family suite on the whole top floor). The large dining room is on the ground floor with a winding staircase leading to the lounge and upstairs bedrooms. The double lounge features a nice open fire and access leading out to a large sunny terrace.
The previous stables are now the place that accommodates the 6-man sauna with its private relaxation room, as the perfect place to enjoy after a great day skiing.

Set in an ideal location with the first lift out of the village just 3 minutes walk away, the chalet provides easy access for the ski schools, slopes and other lifts. With is location, its grandeur and its standards, this chalet always remains a popular choice for our guests which is why it's 20th season running it!

There are a couple of bars and restaurants in the village centre which is a short stroll away so it's a convenient solution for the staff's day off. There is also a takeaway pizza service (very tasty and filling!) but if you fancy something more special, Le Petit Hibou is at the end of the valley near the Nordic Centre. Minibuses can be arranged to get you there and back if required. Due to its popularity, booking early is recommended.
