Le Vieux Chalet is one of the most characteristic chalets! A wonderful charming wooden chalet for the real "chalet feeling"!

Our chalet Le Vieux is a beautifully authentic and romantic chalet with a special story, which even made French television. The chalet was built in 1910 in Gstaad, and in 2001 moved to Les Gets. The chalet boasts of elegant detail and takes you on a journey through its more than 100-year history.

With its extra facilities Le Vieux Chalet is also a very complete chalet: You can warm up around the fireplace, apres-ski in your own home bar or relax in the sauna. This chalet really does our catered chalet formula justice.

The 6 bedrooms in the chalet are completely in style with the rest of the house. Three of the 16 beds are located on the mezzanine and are mainly suitable for children. The chalet is close to the lift and the slopes of Mont Chery Mountain and at the beginning of the village of Les Gets.

Location:

Les Gets is a cozy, authentic, family-friendly village. It’s located in a valley where blue runs come together from both sides. On one side various ski lifts can bring you to the winter sports ski area Portes du Soleil and on the other side there’s the Mont Chery ski area.

The village consists mostly of beautiful wooden chalets. The main street of Les Gets is the hub of the village with many cozy cafes, restaurants, shops and an ice rink for children. Here it’s a hustle and bustle at any time of the day!

A dream area! The Franco-Swiss Portes du Soleil area offers 650 km of slopes for all levels with beautiful views of the massif of the Mont-Blanc.

It is one of the largest ski areas in the world. A single ski pass gives access to 288 slopes and 209 ski lifts, which can be explored on skis or snowboard. Both less experienced and advanced skiers can come into their own here. In Les Gets you leave the village on skis: lifts depart from various points that take the skiers in the wooded and varied ski area.
