The Terra Nova Hotel is superbly located in Plagne Centre. Right at the foot of 225km of piste, you can jump straight on the chairlift in the morning and ski back to the door at the end of the day. The rooms themselves are pretty basic – but with each one facing either a slope or the valley, you'll wake up to fab views every morning.

All your meals are served in the hotel's restaurant, which has fantastic panoramic views of the slopes. Take your pick from the buffet, and toast the ski day with free wine as part of your evening meal.

As for extras, you've got a sauna for a little après R&R. And if a tipple or two is part of your post-piste routine, check out the bar, where there's daily live music to soundtrack your drinks.

Adaptive transfers:

Standard coach transfers are included in the holiday price. These are suitable for guests who can board and exit the coach without assistance.

Private Adaptive Transfers are available at a supplement (1-4 people) and are recommended for wheelchair users.

Adaptive equipment, tuition and lift passes:
In La Plagne we are working with the Oxygen Adaptive ski school based in Plagne centre. They offer tailor made tuition, hire and lift passes to disabled skiers.

The ski school can cater for people with a wide range of disabilities including:

• Blind skiers
• Skiers with special needs
• Skiers requiring sit skis

The Travelife Gold Award formally recognises hotels that achieve excellence in environmental, social and economic sustainability.

Check-in for this hotel is at 6.00pm on the day of arrival - provisions will be made for guests' luggage before this time. A deposit payable by card needs to be provided at check-in.

Please bring a padlock for your ski locker.

Renardeaux and Pirates Clubs:
Recommended for childcare, the two clubs suit young children not yet on the snow. Club Renardeaux is for little ones from 3-5 years, while Les Pirates is for 6-10 years. Both clubs have English-speaking staff and guarantee a lot of happy memories.

The Renardeaux club is open all season, Sunday to Friday, from 8.30am to 5.30pm. Lunch is not included, and will be payable locally.

Les Pirates Club is only open during French school holidays, Sunday to Friday, from 8.30am-5.30pm.
One Leo evening once a week from 7-10.30pm.

Please note: Parents are asked to provide an up-to-date medical certificate/health book to ensure children are up to date with vaccinations. This applies to all children under the age of 6.

Good to know:

The dress code for evening meals is smart/casual.

Check-in is at 5pm.

Group bookings of more than 20 people are available on request only, so please give us a call to book.

This hotel can't cater for vegan/gluten free diets.

No admittance to the sauna and fitness room for children under 15 years.
