Exquisitely arranged over three expansive floors, Le Pousse Caillou instantly provides guests with a home from home feel, with the added touch of elegance and poise. The chalet boasts a separate TV room on the ground floor that provides the ideal hideaway for some downtime after a fun-filled day on the slopes. The open plan living/kitchen/dining area hosts the quintessential setting to indulge in culinary delights whilst relaxing amongst the deluxe furnishings of Ligne Roset and the dazzling fireplace.
To truly unwind, take a dip in the chalet’s outdoor sunken hot tub, accessed through the sliding terrace doors. Located in a quaint cul-de-sac in the Mussillon region of Méribel, the chalet sits perfectly overlooking the sensational mountainous backdrop.
The bedrooms are finished to a remarkably high standard with a contemporary and luxurious feel. All of the bedrooms are generously-sized and either have a walk-in shower or bath.
Bedrooms one and two are located on the ground and first floor and the master bedroom plus two family suites occupy the second floor. The master bedroom is spacious and light, flaunting elements of both finesse and comfort; with ample storage, a stylish walk-in shower and a desk/office area. Sliding doors open onto the terrace, where the breath-taking valley views are in abundance.
An unrivalled feature of Le Pousse Caillou are the two family suites, accommodating two adults and two children in each room. Although slightly on a smaller scale in comparison to the other bedrooms, both rooms have a fixed double bed, with one bedroom having an interconnecting children’s bedroom and the other, a trendy mezzanine floor accessed via a ladder/staircase.

Meals in Chalet le Pousse Caillou, Meribel
At Meriski, we are wonderfully passionate about our food and drink, with it being a fundamental feature of our high level of service and product. The menus served in our chalets reflect this and we think would be best described as delicious, imaginative and freshly produced. Our head chef, Richard, oversees all of our chalet chefs, ensuring that our guests receive the best quality food and dining experiences.
To get your taste buds tingling, here is an insight as to what you can expect during a stay in a Meriski catered chalet;
At breakfast, look out for home-made yoghurt with freshly made compote, daily specials such as Eggs Benedict, an array of cereals and pastries, along with various cooked options.
Mouth-watering home-made cakes and biscuits for afternoon tea or perhaps you would like to sample a delicious charcuterie platter with breads and freshly made pickles instead.
To start off your evening perfectly, sip on a Kir Royale around the roaring fire before sampling your chefs mini culinary creations such as Tempura King Prawn with Chilli, Lime & Coriander or a Braised Beef and Blue Cheese Croquet.
Starter - Pea and ham soup, crispy bacon and herb croutons
Main Course - Roast rump of lamb with rosemary polenta and glazed parsnips
Dessert - Warm cinnamon sponge with caramelised apples and vanilla ice cream
To make your stay with Meriski one to remember, you can expect to experience a mountain-themed evening, where your chef will prepare a wide range of local and French classics such as Tartiflette, Pisaladière and Baked Mont d’Or.
Our chefs are all wonderfully experienced and will be able to cater for all dietary requirements. These can be discussed prior to arrival with our Chalet Manager. If you have any special requests over and above what is included, we will endeavour to accommodate your needs, but this will be at an additional charge.
Our wines are all carefully selected and chosen to compliment the food we serve. Your chalet host will recommend wines at the start of each meal, however we understand wine is subjective and you will probably have a favourite! We are delighted to continue working with the Languedoc winemaker Paul Boyer. Many of our returning guests will now be very familiar with his superb wines.
