New to our portfolio this year, is the award winning Chalet Mont d’Or, situated in the characterful and traditional Savoyard village of Méribel Les Allues. This superb chalet is of typical Alpine architecture, and boasts high quality accommodation with stunning contemporary features and first class facilities.

The chalet comfortably sleeps 12-14 in six bedrooms, all of which are en-suite and furnished to a high standard. The large open plan lounge/dining room is bright and airy, with picture windows, a wonderful log fire and plenty of comfortable sofas and seating to relax into. And that’s not all, for further indulgence, a sauna and outdoor hot tub are housed on the lower ground floor.

Location:
Chalet Mont d’Or offers a daily minibus service to and from the Olympe 2 gondola, which is situated just a short drive from the chalet. From here, and within a few minutes, you reach La Chaudanne – the central hub of Méribel, and from where one has access to the largest ski area in the world, the main ski lift station, ski school meeting points and the Parc Olympique – a large sports centre with pool, gym, climbing wall and Spa.

The village centre of Les Allues is a short walk from the chalet, and is home to some delightful little restaurants, a pub and a small supermarket.

Fine Dining
Freshly prepared home cooked food is one of the delight’s of a catered ski chalet holiday, and a joy that we have perfected. During your stay we will serve you breakfast and afternoon tea daily, and a 4 course evening meal for 6 nights of your stay.

We cater to all dietary requirements, and just ask that you let us know at the time of booking so that we can let our chalet staff know prior to your arrival.

If you are celebrating a special occasion during your stay with us, then let us know. A birthday or anniversary wouldn’t be a celebration without a cake!

Our chalet staff have one day off during your stay. On their day off a continental breakfast and afternoon tea are provided for you. In the evening it’s a great chance to try out one of the local restaurants. Our chalet team will know all the good one’s and will be pleased to make a reservation for you.

BREAKFAST

Enjoy a continental or a cooked option. Our breakfast also includes freshly baked baguettes and pastries, cereals, muesli, yoghurts and porridge made to order. Our cooked options include bacon, sausages, eggs and grilled tomatoes alongside a plentiful choice of teas and freshly brewed coffee.

AFTERNOON TEA

One word springs to mind – “decadent”. At afternoon tea you will delight in freshly baked cakes, biscuits, scones and brownies, complimented by a choice of teas, filter coffee or a mug of hot chocolate.

KIDS TEA

We are always happy to provide an earlier evening meal for our little skiers, which will be tailored to suit children’s taste buds. Home from home cooking always goes down a treat, so just let us know their likes and dislikes and we will do the rest.

DINNER

A delicious 4 course evening meal of starter, main, dessert and rounded off with a local french cheese for you to savour, is served on 6 nights of your stay. Your meal is complimented with a a choice of superior wines supplied by Le Verre Gourmand. Coffee and chocolates are served fireside after dinner.

WINES

After much wine tasting…. we are pleased to be offering a selection of wines supplied by Le Verre Gourmand. Your chalet drinks fridge will be stocked with a house white and red wine and local beer. At dinner we serve a more superior wine with a choice of 2 reds, 2 whites and a Rose. Wine is served on an unlimited basis through dinner and you are welcome to help yourself to the chalet drinks fridge throughout the day. Complimentary teas, coffee and juice are available in the chalet throughout the day.
