A wonderful, larger chalet in an excellent position in Meribel close to the slopes and resort centre. Directly opposite O'Sullivans Bar (Formally Dicks Tea Bar).
Made up of 6 bedrooms over 4 floors. The entire chalet is tastefully decorated and features luxurious furnishings including a warming log fire in the living and dining area. Ideal for relaxation, the chalet is equipped with a private sauna to help you unwind after a long day on the slopes.
Entrance level: Here we have the boot room with boot heater/drier, sauna, separate lavatory and guest room number 1. This room is a twin with en suite bathroom containing lavatory, washbasin and shower.
1st Floor: This floor houses the lounge/diner with comfortable seating and open fire as well as bedroom number 2 which is a twin room with ensuite bathroom with bath, lavatory and washbasin.
2nd Floor: Both bedrooms on this floor (numbers 3 and 4) have a double bed and an ensuite bathroom with bath, lavatory and washbasin. Each bedroom has a balcony.
3rd Floor: The two bedrooms (numbered 5 and 6) each have twin beds and an ensuite bathroom with bath, lavatory and washbasin. Both rooms have a balcony.
Location:
Sitting close to the resort centre and with the local ski bus, transport around the resort is made quick and convenient.
This is also a courtesy minibus service in the morning (08.30 to 10.00) to take guests to ski school or to the ski lifts. Priority will be given to guests going to ski school; there is also a free public bus service from the chalets to the slopes. The minibus will also bring you back to the chalet in the afternoon - it will run for the final hour before the main lifts close. Public transport around the resort of Meribel is also quick and convenient.

Meals in Chalet Renardeaux, Meribel
Breakfast:
Breakfast every day will consist of a selection of cereals, porridge or muesli with yogurts, fresh French bread with butter and preserves. In addition we offer boiled eggs to guests not wanting the cooked breakfast of bacon and fried eggs with Heinz beans or hash browns and mushrooms or tomatoes which is served every day apart from Saturday and the chalet hosts day off (normally Wednesday) when we serve freshly baked croissants and pain au chocolate. To drink we have fruit juice, French coffee and a selection of breakfast teas.
Afternoon Tea:
For afternoon tea (every day including the chalet hosts day off), the most informal meal of the day, help yourself to fresh bread, butter and jams, biscuits and home made cake or scones, either eaten at the table or relaxing beside the fire.
Canapés & Aperitifs:
On arrival in your chalet, handmade pre-dinner canapés and aperitifs will be served to you in the lounge while your experienced chalet host welcomes you to your chalet and introduces you to the resort.
Dinner:
For Dinner, one of the highlights of the day, chalet hosts use fresh seasonal produce.
Chalet hosts cook a 3-course evening meal. On the final evening of your holiday, your chalet host will produce a 4-course evening meal including a local cheese board and port.
The evening meal is served at 8pm. See below for details about children's dinner.
Please note that in all of our chalets, your hosts will eat dinner with guests.
Wine:
To complement your meal we serve free and unlimited good quality Red and White wines during the course of dinner. After dinner fresh ground coffee or decaffeinated coffee as well as tea are served in the lounge.
Children's Food:
Children aged 11 and under will be served High Tea at around 6pm. This is provided at no extra cost and ensures that your child's normal routine is not disturbed: soft drinks or milk are served with the meal. It also ensures that adults can enjoy their evening meal, which is served at 8pm. If you have booked a whole chalet then you can eat together - please speak to your chalet hosts on arrival.
Special Food/Dietary Requirements:
Our chalet hosts are used to adapting the menu to accommodate your food preferences. If you do have a specific dietary need (e.g. Vegetarian or Coeliac) or an allergy, please let the office know at least 10 days prior to your holiday start date.
