In a perfect location in the charming village of Val Claret is our Chalet Chartreux, a spacious 6 bedroom catered chalet with delightful interior and breathtaking 360° views of the mountains. Situated at 2100m, Val Claret is the highest village in Tignes and from where access into the Espace Killy ski area is at its finest.

Sleeping up to 13, Chalet Chartreux has a lovely home from home feel, bright and sunny and lovely and warm thanks to the handsome wood burning stove in the cosy living room. Here there is plenty of comfy seating to go round and just off is a conservatory with pool table, easy chairs and sound system. Further still, the chalet has a Mezzanine level furnished with sofas, bean bags, flat screen satellite TV and gaming station.

Location:

Chalet Chartreux is just a short walk from the centre of the village, which is extremely well stocked with bars, restaurants, shops, cinema and more. From the chalet, a 5 minute walk takes you to the flat tow rope which connects to the main lift station, or take the nearby free resort bus service that runs frequently throughout the day and night to the main lift station, and to the other villages within Tignes ski resort.

Meals in Chalet Chartreux, Tignes

Breakfast:

Enjoy a continental or a cooked option. Our breakfast also includes freshly baked baguettes and pastries, cereals, muesli, yoghurts and porridge made to order. Our cooked options include bacon, sausages, eggs and grilled tomatoes alongside a plentiful choice of teas and freshly brewed coffee.

Afternoon Tea:

One word springs to mind – “decadent”. At afternoon tea you will delight in freshly baked cakes, biscuits, scones and brownies, complimented by a choice of teas, filter coffee or a mug of hot chocolate.

Evening Meal:

A delicious 4 course evening meal of starter, main, dessert and rounded off with a local french cheese for you to savour, is served on 6 nights of your stay. Your meal is complimented with a choice of superior wines supplied by Le Verre Gourmand. Coffee and chocolates are served fireside after dinner.

Kids Tea:

We are always happy to provide an earlier evening meal for our little skiers, which will be tailored to suit children’s taste buds. Home from home cooking always goes down a treat, so just let us know their likes and dislikes and we will do the rest.

Wines:

After much wine tasting…. we are pleased to be offering a selection of wines supplied by Le Verre Gourmand. Your chalet drinks fridge will be stocked with a house white and red wine and local beer. At dinner we serve a more superior wine with a choice of 2 reds, 2 whites and a Rose. Wine is served on an unlimited basis through dinner and you are welcome to help yourself to the chalet drinks fridge throughout the day. Complimentary teas, coffee and juice are available in the chalet throughout the day.
