Chalet Tourelle is our quirkiest ski chalet, with a brightly coloured interior and bedrooms themed around music memorabilia, situated on the lakeside in Tignes le Lac and offering quick and easy access to the slopes.
Located on the edge of the lake in Tignes Le Lac, Chalet Tourelle offers some of the most spectacular views in Tignes, overlooking Val Claret, the Grande Motte and Toviere. The Tourelle has a ‘quirky character’ with bright colours and bedrooms themed around different rock bands, with music memorabilia throughout the chalet. Although the bedrooms and bathrooms, a little dated, are smaller than the average, the service and standards you will receive are the same as across all our chalets, some of the most highly rated in Tignes and Val d’Isère.
Chalet Tourelle is perfectly situated for the principal central Tignes ski lifts, which are just a 3 minute flat walk away and provide easy access to the huge variety of slopes surrounding the lake and the rest of the vast Espace Killy ski area. Ski home at the end of the day on blues, blacks, reds or unlisted natures – arriving almost at the Chalet’s front door! Additionally, free buses in either direction are just a few metres away from the Chalet, giving you opportunity to explore even further.
Dinner, three courses with a choice of desert or a cheeseboard, and hot breakfast with a choice of three items, is served on six days of the week, prepared by a private chalet chef. A continental breakfast is provided on the seventh day. Afternoon tea, with freshly baked cakes and biscuits, is served every afternoon. Find out more about our food and drink here. After a hard day’s skiing, enjoy your afternoon tea in the lounge area or, in March and April, on a deck chair on the sun terrace. Alternatively, relax in the chalet bar, which is for the exclusive use of chalet guests, except in early and late season and offers a great selection of beers, wines, spirits and hot drinks from après-ski until late evening.
All the bedrooms have flat screen TVs with English Freeview and there is free WiFi throughout the chalet. Please note that the bar is closed on Thursdays. With our local knowledge of Tignes and Val d’Isère, we can offer you the best advice when it comes to planning the rest of your trip.
