The chalet/apartment Arran is new to our programme for the 2016/17 season and promises to offer superb accommodation for up to 8 people.

It forms part of our "Scottish Isles" programme and set in the heart of Val d'Isere, provides instant access to the cosmopolitan lifestyle and incredible skiing this leading resort has to offer. Set on the second floor, all bedrooms are ensuite and the beautiful open-plan living/dining room, with log fire, provides lovely comfortable surroundings in which to while your time away deciding which glass of wine, slice of cake or ominous black run you will take on next. It has the added benefit of an exclusive sauna in which to rest those weary legs after said black run!

The Arran is newly built for this season and its local owner has taken every care possible in ensuring the highest levels of comfort are combined beautifully with tradition whilst using locally sourced materials. It is set in a tranquil location behind private gates which lead from the high street and the heart of the village, and the main Solaise/Bellevarde ski lifts are a straight-forward 5 minute stroll away. You will be warmly welcomed to The Arran by one of our hand-selected chalet hosts who lives out.

Did You Know... Arran is the largest island in the Firth of Clyde and is where our bathroom goodies are manufactured by Arran Aromatics, one of our favourite longstanding partners providing guests with the hugely popular Bergamot & Ginger shower gels and Grapefruit soaps for many years...

We believe we are the only recognised independent UK Operator to offer our properties on a flexible catering basis therefore providing our guests with as much choice as possible when choosing a fully-catered, part-catered or self-catered chalet or apartment. Our chalet hosts all enjoy cooking and take pride in what they serve and whilst they are not necessarily qualified chefs, they have good experience of dinner party cooking and many of them will have attended one of the well-regarded cookery schools with whom we work closely to ensure the highest calibre of staff possible.

Please remember though that our staff are also hand-selected for their personality and approach to work, something which we are sure you will agree, is absolutely paramount for the enjoyment of your well-earned holiday. If choosing the fully catered or part catered option, you will be assured of good home-cooked food prepared and served by great ambassadors for Powder White. They will not offer luxury items or haute cuisine, they serve good wholesome hearty food fit for anyone after a hard day on the slopes. Menus will be varied and may include local dishes as well as the more traditional UK favourites such as roasts, lasagne or casseroles.
