Chalet Elena occupies a commanding position on the top of a small rise in the middle of the prestigious "Le Cret" hamlet of Val d'Isere.

The chalet is a typical Savoyard dwelling where stone and local slate blend harmoniously with the warmth of weathered wood to create that cosy mountain atmosphere. Rustic plaster walls and timber beamed ceilings complement quality soft furnishings and comfortable bedrooms (most of which have full en-suite facilities). After a long day on the slopes and afternoon tea in front of the roaring fire, a leisurely sauna will help relax those weary limbs! Or perhaps, a nice quiet drink on the sun drenched terrace is more your style!

Breakfast:

Get your day off to the right start with a hearty brekkie. We’ll lay out a selection of fresh bread and pastries, cereals, yogurts, fruit and fresh juices for you to choose from and if there’s still room for more, we offer a special cooked option on 6 days of the week. On your host’s day off, we will deliver fresh bread and leave a selection of cold breakfast items for you to help yourself too.

Afternoon Tea:

After a hard day, reward yourselves by tucking into freshly prepared afternoon tea - ready and waiting for your return. Our cakes and biscuits are baked each morning and laid out with tea, coffee and hot chocolate for you to help yourself to!

Evening Meal:

Dinner is all about your choice! You tell us what time you would like to eat and we’ll start your evening off with a few nibbles before serving a delicious four course meal accompanied with wine. We have carefully selected wine to compliment the day’s menu but if you’d prefer something different, we can send you a wine list to pre-order before you arrive.

For the younger members of the group, we will prepare a healthy tea, served a little earlier, to ensure they aren’t kept hungry for long!

Luxury Upgrade:

For a nominal charge of £99 per adult and £30 per child, you may wish to upgrade to our luxury service.

Our upgrade package includes: Daily breakfast as above but with a cooked breakfast of your choice. Pre-dinner drinks and canapés before each night's enhanced three course evening meal, all prepared by a qualified and experienced chef. Your evening meal will be served with a superior wine selection and followed with a selection of cheeses and a glass or two of port.

Complimentary wine, beers, soft drinks and mixers are available throughout your stay.

We also provide daily newspapers as requested and offer a concierge service to help with ski hire, ski school runs, booking restaurants and any holiday extras you may wish to arrange.

Please Note - Catered prices are based on 12 people sharing and include our standard chalet board service. Children that eat an earlier tea receive a discount of £50 per child. To calculate the catered price for different sized groups, simply take the self-catered rental price and add £199 per adult and £149 per child.
