Set in a prime location at the end of a private lane in Val d’Isere centre, Melezes is the perfect holiday apartment for convenience and tranquillity. Less than 300 metres from the main lift stations and overlooking the small woodland Melezes comfortably sleeps 8 people in four good sized rooms.

Our duplex apartment in the Chalet Melezes occupies the top two floors of a privately owned and run residence building. The large bedrooms are light and spacious but please be aware one of the rooms has limited head height due to the exposed wooden beams. Downstairs the open plan lounge and dining area offer ample room for relaxing after a hard day on the slopes and enjoying delicious home cooked food at the large dining table. In the cold winter a warm cup of tea (or something stronger) in front of the open log fire will have you feeling relaxed and right at home in no time.

Due to the private, exclusive nature of Chalet Melezes, this apartment is not suitable for lively groups. Noise restrictions are in place at all times which must be adhered to

Food! It’s the fuel of the holiday, the fundamental of your morning, the most welcomed sight after pulling off those boots and the perfect way to bring everybody together to round off the day and laugh at each other’s antics.

In case you hadn’t guessed, we love our food and honestly believe; there is no better way to enjoy it in the Alps than when it’s been lovingly prepared in the comfort of your own chalet by one of our professional chefs or experienced cooks. Add to that the lack of washing up, well for you anyway, and you’ve got the perfect recipe (excuse the pun) to complement your stay in Val d’Isere.

The smell of fresh coffee brewing, croissants baking in the oven and the sound of bacon sizzling in the pan – what better way to be woken for the day ahead!

Get your day off to the right start with a hearty breakfast. We’ll lay out a selection of freshly baked French bread and pastries, cereals, yogurts, fruit and fresh juices for you to choose from and if there’s still room for more, we offer a special cooked option on 5 days of the week. On your host’s days off, we will deliver fresh bread and pastries to your door to make sure you’re not feeling forgotten.

BREAKFAST PACKAGES:

Our BREAKFAST PACKAGES are available in any of our chalets or for private home owners / renters. The package includes:

• Selection of teas, coffee and hot chocolate
• Fruit juices
• Continental buffet of cereals, yogurts, fruit, bread, pastries and preserves each morning
• Cooked special on 5 mornings
• All cleared and cleaned away with no washing up left for you to do (5 mornings)

CATERED CHALET BOARD:

Our standard CATERED CHALET BOARD package includes:

• Daily breakfast (special cooked option on 5 days)
• Afternoon tea – cakes, bread, preserves and complementary hot drinks
• Five bespoke three course evening meals tailored to your group’s requirements
• Carefully selected red and white wines or bottled beers served with dinner
• Pre-dinner drinks and canapes on your first and last night
• Our services can all be tailored to your requirements so if a three course evening meal isn’t for you each night, then do let us know. We are more than happy to serve good old family favourites or just a simple two course option. On your chef / host’s days off, we can arrange for oven ready meals to be delivered to your accommodation or happily point you in the direction of some of the great local restaurants.

Our evening meals are usually served around 8pm. On your arrival day should you be checking in after 9pm we will offer a light buffet supper of soup, bread, meats and cheeses followed by a dessert for you to help yourself to.

A TOUCH OF LUXURY:

For a nominal charge of £99* per adult and £35* per child, you may wish to upgrade to our luxury service.

Our upgrade package includes:

• Breakfast as above but with a cooked option of your choice.
• Pre-dinner drinks and canapés
• An enhanced three course evening menu.
• A superior wine selection
• A selection of cheeses and a glass of port.
• Complimentary wine, beers, soft drinks and mixers are available throughout your stay.

We also provide daily newspapers as requested and offer a concierge service to help with ski hire, ski school runs, booking restaurants and any holiday extras you may wish to arrange.
