The dining room is stylish and elegant, in keeping with the quality of finish throughout the whole of the chalet. The large, inviting living area has enough space for all on large comfy sofas and comes complete with a warming stove. Guests in Chalet Phoenix are often found glass in hand on the huge 270º panoramic balcony which has incredible views of the mountains All the bedrooms have beautifully finished en suite bathrooms as well as the luxury of Jacuzzi baths. Loosen up your ski legs in the chalet’s private sauna or why not indulge in a beauty treatment or two in the residence’s spa (payable locally).

Location:

Chalet Phoenix takes pride of place in the centre of Val Thorens in the newly built area of the Balcons Residence. This position offers excellent access to the skiing, just 100 metres (approx.) from the piste. The Plein Sud lift goes straight past the complex and competent skiers can enjoy the convenience of skiing practically to the door in good conditions. For beginners the shuttle bus stops right outside the reception area for access to the other lifts. The shops, lively bars and restaurants of Val Thorens are just a short walk away.

Meals in Chalet Phoenix, Val Thorens

We take great care in creating and planning delicious menus, for all of our chalets. We have succeeded in creating menus that are fresh, healthy and beautifully presented. We set high standards for our food and we test and taste every one of our recipes. Our menus are specially designed to give you what your body needs for a hard day on the mountain.

We believe it is important to use fresh local produce wherever we can. We take inspiration from local cuisine and combine it with familiar favourites within our menus. All of our dishes are cooked from scratch and freshly prepared for you to enjoy.

A healthy breakfast:

Start your day with freshly baked bread, a selection of jams, porridge, cereals, yogurts, eggs, fruit juice and unlimited tea and coffee. There will be a daily variety of hot options such as, sausages, tomatoes, hash browns and poached eggs, served alongside croissants, pain au chocolate (or local breads, ham and cheese in Austria and Switzerland). A continental breakfast will be provided for 7 days during your stay, as well as hot options served by our hosts on 6 days.

A well deserved afternoon Tea:

After your exhilarating day on the slopes a freshly baked cake or biscuits, served with hot tea and coffee awaits for you in your chalet, on 6 days of your stay.

A delicious dinner:

On 6 nights of your stay a delicious freshly cooked 3 course meal will be prepared for you by your chalet host. This will also include a selection of regional wines, that are unlimited until coffee is served.

Please Note - During your stay your chalet host will have one day off, on this day you will have to go out for dinner at one of the fabulous local restaurants. Your in resort ski rep can help you book or recommend a restaurant to try, and a continental breakfast will be left out for you.
