Ski to/from this newly built (opened winter 2019) mountain hotel designed with skiers in mind. Guests will enjoy its panoramic, piste-side location, relaxed ambience and modern, minimalist design. Built using natural materials and eco-friendly construction methods, Montivas Lodge's ethos is centred around sustainability and green thinking. The focal point of the hotel is the breakfast room which doubles up as a lounge area in the afternoons for unwinding and socialising - there's also an honesty bar with beer and soft drinks.

Well positioned in San Rocco, the nearest lifts are 75m away and the free bus stops 100m from the hotel to whisk you to any of the different ski areas. Montivas Lodge is on bed & breakfast basis, giving you freedom to sample Livigno's numerous eateries, catering to all tastes. The local area boasts numerous restaurants, alternatively the centre of town is a short bus ride or taxi away.

Guests may use facilities at the excellent Lac Salin and a weekly activity programme is included. This includes accompanied snow shoe and skiing sessions, morning yoga or aqua gym (available at Hotel Lac Salin).

Granted duty free status in Napoleonic times, today's flourishing resort offers a wealth of winter entertainment and fantastic shopping. The bustling traffic-free centre offers good value stores and designer boutiques alongside a variety of vibrant cafes. Rustic bars and good restaurants provide après ski options. Husky sledding, snowshoe walking and horse riding are just some of the non-ski activities available, the impressive Aquagranda Spa centre and local creamery are well worth a visit.
