You’ll feel right at home from the moment you arrive as our friendly hospitality team welcomes you to this little chalet-style gem on the outskirts of Sauze. The atmosphere is laid back thanks to cosy public areas and there are plenty of wooden furnishings to create that authentic mountain feel. The bar in particular is certain to be a focal point of the hotel, especially after a day on the slopes of this 400km ski area. The location could not be better for keen skiers and snowboarders as the Jouvenceaux Sportinia lift is just 50m away.
The Jouvenceaux Sportinia ski lift (just 50m away) takes you right in to the heart of the Sauze ski area and provides an easy gateway to Sestrière and the rest of the Milky Way. So it’s easy to ski from the hotel and for those that are comfortable on red runs, it’s possible to ski back to the hotel too.
Being in a quiet location on the outskirts of Sauze means that the views are spectacular from virtually every room in the hotel. The large balcony outside the bar provides a great place to enjoy après drinks and the lovely scenery. Sauze’s lively resort centre is about 1km up the hill and ski buses run every 30 minutes or so from a stop a couple of minutes’ walk away, making access easy throughout the day. There is also a hotel shuttle bus that runs to the centre daily between 5 & 10pm. Alternatively, the small village of Jouvenceaux has a couple of restaurants and bars that are also only a few minutes away.
Within the hotel, the 24 bedrooms are spacious and rustic in style, with hand carved furniture and many with balconies overlooking the piste and surrounding mountains. The lounge has a wonderful log fire and the dining area is also rustically furnished with original stone walls, wooden ceilings and plenty of mountain artifacts adorning the walls. To help you relax at the end of the day, a small wellness area with its hot tub, sauna and small treatment room offering sports and relaxing massages are ideal for rejuvenating tired legs.
