The Grand Hotel Zermatterhof has welcomed guests with traditional Swiss hospitality since 1879. This five-star hotel upholds a long tradition of elegance and yet it is less formal than its rival, the Mont Cervin, and the staff are generally young and friendly.

In Winter 2007, the hotel opened its refurbished "Vita Borni" spa with excellent upgraded facilities and a host of treatments on offer. For Winter 2008, 15 junior and medium suites were renovated as well as several of the public rooms including the Rudenbar.
