In recent years the popularity of ski holidays in the Arlberg Ski Area has increase two fold. The is mainly down to the reputation of St Anton as a great place to head for snow security, a larger ski area and off course the legendary apres ski. St Anton is now without a doubt one of the most popular resorts for British skiers and it it is easy to see why. There is almost 400km of piste that is covered on the lift pass and with with world famous apres ski bars such as the Mooserwirt and Krazy Kanguruh there is no doubt that St Anton everything that you need to a fantastic ski holiday. However, ski holidays in the Alberg Ski Area is not just about St Anton. There are other resorts that add to the area and are also well worth checking out.

Arlberg Ski Area Skiing Holidays

On top of St Anton the other main resort in the Arlberg area is Lech. Lech has long been one of the most sort after ski holiday destination in Austria but the hotels that are there can often be very expensive and book out well in advance for peak dates such as new year. That said there are still some good value chalets chalet hotels to be found if you are lucky enough to have a look and see what you can find. Zurs is another of the resorts in the Arlberg and it is located in the same part of the ski area as Lech. As is the case with Lech the accommodation in Zurs does not come cheap but most of the accommodation there is of a high standard and is ski in ski out. It is also well worth thinking about St Christoph. St Christoph is a small hamlet in the same part of the area as St Anton and as with Zurs nearly all of the accommodation is ski in ski out. The Chalet Hotel St Christoph offers great value for money and decent group discounts.
