Soll
Soll is a stunning Tyrolean village situated close to the Austrian-German boarder, and is one of the most popular ski resorts in Austria. Soll is one of the principle resorts that make up the Ski Welt, Austria’s largest interconnect ski area. With 279km of pistes, and located under the “Hohe Salve”, the highest peak in the ski area it clear why it has long a favorite with any keen skier.

One of the best features about Soll is its extensive ski area, the Ski Welt. It has 279km of slopes, serviced by 90 modern cable cars and with over 75 rustic ski huts and après ski bars throughout, it really has to be the place to visit this winter. The Ski Welt links Soll to other great resorts Ellmau, Scheffau and Westendorf. Thanks to a new 4km long gondola, that links Westendorf to the legendary Kitzbuhel, providing another 170km of slopes, if you purchase the Kitzbuhler Alpen ski pass.

Skiing Info
Soll is locatedin the Ski Welt which is a huge ski area with almost 300km of piste. You can also get an extention on the lift pass which allows you to ski over to Kitzbuhel and Kirchberg and beyond, thus extending the amount of skiing even further! It is great all round ski area which is popular with skiers of all abilities.
Beginners skiers are looked after well in Soll. You may find that you have to get a bus to the slopes due to the layout of the village but there are two easy blue runs to take lessons on which are easy access rather than having to get bigcable car to get to the nursery slopes likein some resorts.
Intermediate skiers in Soll will probably not need tro get the Kitzbuhel extention on their lift pass. The amount of skiing in the Ski Welt alone is huge and is easily enough for a weeks skiing. It will even get you wanting to come back for more.
Advanced skiers will loved the amount of skiing that is on offer. The Ski Welt offers enough skiing just by itself but the ability to add the extention to Kitzbuhel is the icing on the cake. You canski for miles and never ski the same run twice!
With 3 snow parks on offer just in the Ski Welt, Snowboarders are looked after very well. If you get the extention of the pass then there are even more parks to sample on the Kitzbuhel side. There is also an abundance of off piste to be found and for those who justr like to shread up the piste there is so much available that you will never get board!

Soll is a charming village with over 50 different restaurants and has an excellent après ski scene. Popular bars include the moonlight bar and the legendary Whisky Muhle. The town is also full of pretty buildings with a pedestrianized center with plenty of actives for non-skiiers.
Soll is one of the most popular resorts in Austria for holiday makers looking for a weeks skiing and a week partying. The prices wont break the bank either!
