Westendorf is an attractive Tyrolean village, situated on an open plateau in the wide Brixen Valley. Ski holidays to Westendorf enjoys the access to two vast ski areas, the SkiWelt and Kitzbuhel, and thanks to its nursery slopes besides the village center it has long been a family favorite. The Ski Welt is Austria’s largest interconnected ski area, and includes 9 different resorts and 280km of slopes. If you purchase the Kitzbuheler Alpen All Star Pass and take the Ki-West gondola, it is possible to ski a further 165km of pistes, to access other great within the legendary Kitzbuhel ski area.
Westendorf is a picture perfect Austrian village, which has a buzzing atmosphere but attracts families more than partygoers. The nursery slopes are wide, sunny and right by the town center, and the ski school has an excellent children’s program. The Pistes above the town are tree-lined and offer some fantastic skiing. Westendorf also benefits from a short transfer only 1 hour from Innsbruck, perfect for families?

This picturesque village has a fantastic location, and lies between both the SkiWelt (280km Austria’s largest interconnected ski area) and Kitzbuhel (165km). This resort offers some fantastic tree-lined skiing and benefits from a short transfer (only 1 hour) and has long been a family favorite.
Perfect for learner skiers and children, with its nursery slopes in the village center.
The main ski area for Westendorf is reached by a 6-person gondola, which takes you to the top of the Alpenrose. From here you can ski across to Feilding, or why not try the wide-open slopes of the Gampenkogel.
On the Choralpe and at the top of the Brixen gondola, there are some challenging reds and blacks. Expert skiers in Westendorf will definitely want to take advantage of the full ski area. That means getting the Kitzbuheler Alpen All Star Card as your lift pass which will allow you access to both the entire Ski Welt and the Kitzbuhel Kirchberg ski area giving you a staggering 445km of piste!
In Westendorf there are some good après bars and ski huts to experience, however if you really want a party scene, you might be better to try Soll or some of the other resorts within the SkiWelt. Westendorf does have some excellent shops, cafes, and restaurants and has long been a family favorite.
