With 400km of piste and two major resorts linked up under one lift pass (Les Arcs & La Plagne) you are sure to find something to suit your tastes if you are thinking of skiing the Paradiski.
Beginners skiers are very well looked after throughout the Paradiski. Both Les Arcs and La Plagne have plenty of easy runs to learn to ski on and no matter where you are staying you will nearly always have easy access to some nursery slopes.
The Paradiski is an intermediate skiers paradise. Over 400kmof piste means that you will never be board throughout the course of your holiday and you will have new slopes to discover every day. If you are on a budget then you might even consider just getting a local area lift pass. Each of the resorts in the Paradiski (Les Arcs and La Plagne) have over 200km of skiing covered on the local area lift pass. Until a few years ago, when the resorts were linked, each one was a popular ski resort in its own right, so if you are on holiday for a week then a local area lift pass might be all that you need.
There is so much skiing in the Paradiski that expert skiers will be entertained during everyday of your ski holiday and you will definately want to make the most of the full area lift pass. There is 425km of skiing in total and there are plenty of villages and hamlets to stop at throughout your holiday. Each resort is made up of small little sub resorts, so there is always somewhere different to stop for lunch.
Certain parts of the Paradiski are better than others for apres ski. For Example, in Les Arcs you will find more apres ski in Arc 1800 and Arc 2000 than you will in the rest of the resort. Having said that, you still find bars and restaurants for a few drinks and a meal out in nearly all areas of the resort. Similarly in La Plagne the main area for apres ski is Plagne Centre. Plagne 1800 also has bit of nightlife to it as a lot of season workers live there so the few bars that they do have are always busy. See here for more info in apres ski in La Plagne.
