Le Corbier is one of the 6 resorts that make up the 4th largest ski area in France, Les Sybelles. With 310km of pistes and much ski in ski out accommodation, this resort should be high on your list of where to go nest season.
Beginner Skiing Le Corbier
For beginners and early intermediates, Le Corbier has excellent learner slopes, with plenty of easy blues. The La Toussuire area is slightly more challenging, with 50km of great skiing within an enormous bowl.
Intermediate Skiing Le Corbier
Intermediate skiers are spoilt for choice with a wide range of enjoyable runs, set against some spectacular scenery.
Advanced Skiing Le Corbier
As one of the largest ski areas in France it is possible for expert skiers to rack up the miles in this resort, with new lifts being added regularly.
Freestyle Skiing Le Corbier
There are 2 snowparks in the Sybelles ski area;
(1) The main park is located in the Ouillon area at the bottom of the drag lifts du Torrêt and is easily accessible to beginners and experts alike. However, to reach this snowpark you will need a Saint Sorlin d’Arves or Sybelles pass. This snowpark has a boardercross and a freestyle zone that includes:
• 8 blue lines: 5 boxes, 1 table, 1 tabletop and a hip
• 6 red lines : 1 tabletop, 2 tables, 1 hip, 1 wallet 1 pyramid
• 6 black lines : 1 tabletop, 1 box, 1 hip, 1 table, 1 big air et 1 box “S”
(2) Le Corbier also has a “mini-park” at the bottom of the La Combe slope.
