The Espace San Bernardo is an international ski area which includes the resorts of La Thuile (Italy) and La Rosiere (France). The international lift pass allows you to ski both resorts and experience two cultures in just one day of skiing. It is real gem of a ski area and is great for all abilities from beginner through top advanced skiers. It is not quite as famous and fashionable as many other ski areas in Europe so that means less queues and much better prices!
There is 150km of piste on offer in the area with more than 70 runs. A good mixture of blue, red and black runs is what makes the area so good for all ability levels and there are some amazing off piste skiing to be found as well. La Thulie and La Rosiere are both listed in our top ski resorts for families section and La Rosiere specifically markets itself as being one of the best family resorts in Europe.
When on a ski holiday in the Italian Espace San Bernardo you will have amazing views of Mont Blanc from La Thuile and the area as a whole is very beautiful. Both La Rosiere and La Thuile have been built with classic alpine architecture and both resorts have a real charm to them. Neither resort has that many bars but as a result the bars that are on offer have a good atmosphere. Many of the chalet that iSki has on offer in La Rosiere offer child care and we have some nice hotel offerings in La Thuile as well as some self catered apartments.
iSki has plenty of great ski holidays on offer in the Italian and the French Espace San Bernardo. Use the links on the right hand side to have a look at the accommodation on offer in La Thuile or click the following link to be taken top your La Rosiere page. If you need any help along the way then do not hesitate to call us on 02037780123 and we will more than happily help.

La Rosiere and La Thuile both have English speaking ski schools with good reputations. They also both have nursery slopes that can easily be access from, the resort centre with easy and wide pistes than are great for beginner skiers.
Intermediate skiers will love this ski area as it is full of blue and red runs that are are wide open with plenty of space. There are also plenty of lovely tree lined routes which offer brilliant scenery and are also handy if the whether closes in and you want to stick to the slopes below the tree line for better visibility.
There is some great heli-Skiing opportunities on the Italian side of the Espace San Bernardo. Helli-Skiing is not possible in France but it is in Italy. There are also some great black runs to be found in the area, and if you budget does not stretch to heli-skiing then the general off piste that can easily be reach is some of the best in Europe.
As mentioned above the Espace San Bernardo is great for off piste skiing. Both La Thuile and La Rosiere offer fantastic opportunities for tree skiing!
There are some fantastic mountain restaurants and eateries in La Thuile and the prices are fantastic compared to France. There are handful of bars to choose from in resort but nothing that gets all that busy.
La Rosiere is slightly more lively than La Thuile (although it is not exactly the party capital of the Alps). Popular bars include Fusion, Moo Bar, Le petite Danois and Le Pub and most are open until about 2am often offering live music and great happy hours deals.
