Val di Fassa is a collection of 7 resorts including Canazei, Campitello and Pozza di Fassa, and provides easy access to the Dolomites and the Sella Ronda circuit, the worlds largest ski area with 1220km of slopes.
Canazei has novice slopes around the village center, or why not take the Belvedere gondola offering wide and easy runs at Pecol. Campitello has only one beginner slope around the town, however at the top of the Col Rodella there are several blue runs.
Both Canazei and Campitello offer direct access to the famous Sella Ronda circuit. From here it is possible to access other great resorts such as Arabba, Corvara and Selva.
One of the main reasons why keen skiers come to the biggest ski area in the world, is to rack up as many miles as possible, how many can you do? The north facing slopes in Arabba has some of the most challenging skiing in the Dolomites.
Canazei is the liveliest of the resorts within Val di Fassa and has an Austrian feel, with lots of traditional style après bars, including the popular Stua dei Ladins and Montanara. There are also some great mountain restaurants why not try the Kaiserstube? All of the restaurants and bars have very affordable Italian prices.
