Formerly known as the Strass Garni, Pension Nordstern is tough to beat if location is your top priority. Walk a couple of minutes to get to all the action in the resort centre, and when it's time to hit the slopes, you've got the Penken gondola next door.

The hotel itself is a no-frills affair, so there’s not much in the way of extra facilities. You’ll tuck into a continental buffet each morning in the little breakfast room, and you can pay to use the pool and wellness area in the Sport & Spa Hotel Strass if you fancy some R&R in the afternoon.
