The Hotel Belle Plagne 2100 (formerly Hotel La Montagne des Génisses) is a friendly and modern hotel with an excellent reputation. Its outstanding location on the piste makes it a favourite with both keen skiers and families, as you can click on your bindings at the door and step out onto the snow. Even if you're not skiing, the hotel is excellently located just a 3-minute walk to the centre of Belle Plagne, so all the shops, bars and restaurants are at your fingertips.

The hotel itself is decorated in a traditional Alpine style, making it a cosy and welcoming retreat in the snowy mountains. When it comes to food, the Hotel Belle Plagne 2100 does not disappoint. You'll enjoy your half-board meals in La Grange restaurant, whose chefs whip up a delicious array of themed buffets and region specialities to accompany the panoramic views from the windows. You don't have to spend lunchtime at the top of the mountain either - La Chaudron is the hotel's sunny terrace that's directly accessible from a home run. Its snackbar sells a range of tasty treats between 12-2pm including Tartiflette, burgers and scrumptious cakes.

If you don't feel like venturing out in the evenings, then entertain yourself in the games room, relax in the whirlpool or let off some steam in the fitness room. If an evening drink is more of your thing, then the onsite Bar La Luge is your best bet. The bartenders can whip you up a mulled wine or speciality cocktail in minutes - and even homemade crêpes if you're still feeling peckish - which you can enjoy snuggled by the fireplace, or up on the dancefloor.
