Whilst the interior of this authentic mountain hut (or ‘mazot’) has been refurbished for the 2017 / 18 season, the exterior remains as antique and charming as any in the resort.
As is the custom with alpine mazots of this kind the main entrance leads directly into a traditional Savoyard style open-plan living and dining area, complete with open fireplace. The cosy living space is perfect for 6 to get warm and relax after a day exploring the immense Paradiski area. Stairs lead up to the three bedrooms on the first floor, all of which enjoy en suite facilities.
Location:
Arc 1800 – One of the last remaining authentic mountain huts in the valley, Chalet Arnaud occupies a secluded spot on a picturesque hillside, the location as charming as the chalet itself. Skiing can be accessed via a short walk, with the piste 520 meters (approx.) along the road and the Dahu Télécabine 450 meters (approx.) away, which accesses the Carreley chair and the heart of the Plan Vert area which is great for skiers of all abilities. With the town centre and ski hire shop 1200 metres (approx.) away, accessible by 5 minute bus or by the télécabine, this really will feel like your own private mountain getaway, whilst being within easy reach of one of France’s most popular resorts.
