Chamois Lodge lies at the foot of the French Alps in the centre of Les Deux Alpes resort, so you’ll be out and on the mountain in no time. The rooms are simply decorated in a chic, vintage style and the wood-panelled walls add a cosy touch so you can look out at the snow from your balcony before retreating back to the warmth of your room.

Fuel your day at breakfast and stack up your plate with food including eggs, bacon and croissants (and maybe some fruit, too). And to save the kids’ stomachs rumbling again at noon, consider buying lunch from the hotel to take with you. When you return to the hotel after a hard day on the mountain, grab your friends, and head out onto the hotel's terrace for some drinks and dance your way into the evening.

You can challenge your group before dinner and set up a board game or start up some friendly competition with a couple of games of table football. And to unwind after a full day’s skiing, enjoy a pre-dinner drink at the bar and choose from a range of tapas dishes. Plus the onsite sommelier will help you decide from their personal selection on which wine to enjoy with your meal - so tuck in and prepare your taste buds.

Snowsure glacier skiing and exciting off-piste terrain have made Les Deux Alpes a well-established favourite among British skiers. You can explore over 220km of piste in this ski area, complete with incredible views from the slopes. The resort is known as being ‘upside down’ because some of the easiest runs and beginner slopes are found higher up the mountain. Consequently some of the steepest and toughest slopes run into the resort, making Les Deux Alpes pretty unique.
